Emphasising certain technicalities of the therapy, Dr. Jasmeet Kaur says, "Salt Therapy being drug-free is a natural treatment that controls the air medium simulating the natural salt cave micro climate. The therapy is performed in a spacious room, precisely a room with salt coated walls and floor. Salt being an ancient remedy, is an effective antiseptic and has anti-inflammatory and mucolytic effects (loosening of mucus). Dry salt aerosol produced by a medical device contains 80% of respirable particles, which alleviate bronchial inflammation, remove pathogen agents (airborne pollen) and speed up the mucociliary transport." drugs or any side effects.
Dr. Kaur further added that the healing microclimate of a natural salt mine is reproduced, monitored and controlled inside a spacious medical chamber by a special medical device, called 'Halogenerator'. The device emits microfine particles of salt and regulates their concentration by using laser eye monitoring system at pre-specified levels, along with controlling the temperature and regulating the humidity.
