Of late, Chandigarh witnessed two major film events — the music release of Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad and the much hyped visit of the star cast and crew of the award winning movie Jatt & Juliet, who are on a promotional tour of their upcoming movie Jatt & Juliet 2.
Lead actors Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa are leaving no stones unturned in promoting the Jatt & Juliet-2. In the run up to the film promotion, the star cast visited various places in Chandigarh, including a live performance at the sector-17 shopping arcade, attending the opening ceremony of PVR cinemas at Elante Mall, besides interacting with the media.
Elaborating on the movie, the visiting stars said the new script is completely different and resembles the original in aspect, except the title. Diljit Dosanjh portrays the character of a pampered Punjab police cop, whereas Neeru Bajwa is playing the role of a sexy Canadian cop. The others who have acted in the film include Rana Ranbir, Jaswinder Bhalla, BN Sharma, stand-up comedian Bharti Singh.
Dosanjh said, "This movie is not a sequel of the earlier one per se, as the title suggests. It's based on an entirely different theme, with the stars portraying different characters. The movie is a wholesome family entertainer, replete with comic reparties."
The star cast of Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad, a romantic comedy, was in Mohali for the launch of music. Besides the star cast, some other big names of the Punjabi music industry, including Master Saleem and Amrinder Gill, were present during the ceremony.

Celebrity singers, including Master Saleem, Roshan Prince, Kamaal Khan, Sonu Kakkar have sung for the soundtrack..
Prince, said, "Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad is a movie that promises complete entertainment which does not mean 'only' comedy.
