Q. Describe a recent vivid dream you had.
A. I sleep well. So generally, I don't really see dreams.
Q. Name two things which you'd call comfort food.
A. Masala dosa and sev-puri.
Q. Name a book which you were sad to finish.
A. The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Q. Name an occasion where you thought, "I'm lucky to have witnessed this."
A. I grew up listening to Flaming June by BT and when I brought them to India to perform; it was indeed one of the most memorable days of my life. I had goose bumps all over my body when they played the song.
Q. If you are stranded at home on a rainy weekend, what movies would you watch?
A. I'm a big fan of The Lord of the Rings. I've read the book thrice and I even have a Gandalf tattoo on my right shoulder. So I guess it would be a movie marathon with all three movies in the LOTR trilogy.
Q. If you are marooned on a deserted island, name three things you›d like to have with you?
A. Conversations are very important to me and what I'd miss most on an island is having someone to talk to. So the first thing isn't a thing at all. It's a person; Pearl, my wife and best friend. As long as she's around I know I'll be happy. The second is a gigantic laser to signal passing ships (and also if there's a passing party; lasers are cool) And the third is a fishing tackle so we can feed ourselves.
