Spanish luxury porcelain brand Lladro, after focusing on exclusive retail outlets in India, announced its entry in to the Chandigarh market with its first retail corner at Sant Ram Mangat Ram Jain Jewellers in sector 17.
Nikhil Lamba, Chief Operating Officer, Lladro said, "People are under the impression that Lladro is bone china, but it is not, it's a porcelain brand and is hand crafted and hence no two products look alike, which makes each product exclusive and that's why its patrons are spread in every nook and corner of the country."
Lladro is an expensive brand with its range of products varying between Rs 3, 500 to Rs 1, 40, 00000. But is this product really worth this price? "Yes, it undoubtedly is," promptly replies Lamba.
"Lladro is handmade, hand colored and crafted to perfection at its workshop in Valencia, Spain, and is exported to 123 countries across the world. Extensive research is done to ensure accuracy in adding the minutest feature in a particular figurine. This practice makes Lladro products exclusive and most of the range comes with a limited edition tag which means that after manufacturing a certain number of statues it is discontinued which makes it unique."
As the festive season approaches, the limited edition range called The Spirit of India Collection is also being launched by Llaro. This includes Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and the Ram Darbar (Lord Rama, Sita, Lakhsmana and Hanumana) and the price of this Ram Darbar is Rs 10, 000 onwards.
