he Maruti Suzuki's extreme adventure sporting event 'Maruti Suzuki's Raid De Himalaya', world's highest rally raid and only Indian motorsport event listed on the off-road rallies calendar of FIA (Federation Internationale Automobile), completes its 15 years of glory and success. Participants from Chandigarh have remained major contenders in the challenge and have given tough competition to the champions in the earlier rallies.
Raid is all set to be organized from October 4 to 12 and all the participants have pulled up their socks to raid the Raid which is considered as one of the most challenging motorsport events globally as rallying at the highest altitude in the world at 6,000 meters above sea level is not everyone's cup of tea.
Rallyists from Chandigarh competing in the competition are Harpreet Bawa, Amartej Buwal, Simranjit Singh. Jagmeet Gill, Mohit Verma, Gagandeep Rekhi, Baljeet Singh and Puran Singh Bisht, Nitin Kohli, Vinay Thakur and Sunny Verma.
