In the recent past many a national and international brands have landed up in Chandigarh. The latest addition to this list is VeroModa, the European fast fashion brand which was launched in the city by Bollywood actresses Bipasha Basu and Diana Penty.
During the ceremony, Basu said, "The VeroModa outlet in Mumbai is quite close to my house and I take full advantage of its proximity. I just barge into the showroom as and when I feel like shopping, and sometimes, I go without prior intimation."
About the latest fashion, Bssu, who is equally successful in the fashion industry and Bollywood, said, "Wearing a specific dress always depends on the mood and mizaz of the occasion. Fiery red, black and white are my hot favourite colours. I wear what I desire, but the basic idea is that it must go with your mood and that you feel quite comfortable in it."
The actress also shared that she is keen on doing Punjabi movies, but has yet to receive offers in this regard.
Diana Penty, who shot to fame with Cocktail said, "I am more of a denim person and feel really comfortable in a pair of jeans. I believe no one should follow fashion blindly. One must wear what goes well with his/her comfort level and the contemporary trends. Fashion fundas keep changing by the minute, but one must not be swayed by volatile trends, for that makes you a slave of recurring thought."
About the brand she said, "VeroModa's distinct feature is that it has a huge collection to choose, from, that breaks monotony frequents updates and overhauls."
Vineet Gautam, country head, VeroModa India said, "North India is a potential market for us and with the launch of the exclusive stores in Chandigarh, we aim at providing an international shopping experience to all customers and are looking forward to positive responses from the city."
