A rom-com with a foreign twist

he premiere show of Jatts in Golmaal, was held at DT Cinemas, with veterans of the Punjabi film industry, besides the star cast. The movie is an addition to the rom-com genre. It is a candid portrayal of a hip and happening individual who aspires to move to Canada. It is a tale of the foreign dreams told in a familiar format.
Besides the director and producer, the entire star cast, including Arya Babbar, Sameksha Singh, Binoo Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jaswinder Bhalla, B N Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, was present at the show. Even though Punjabi Film industry biggies were in attendance, the all eyes remained fixed on Raj Babbar and Nadira Babbar, parents of the lead actor Aaryaa Babbar, who specially came down to Chandigarh for the show.
The movie deals with the present generation's love for foreign lands, especially those of Punjabi origin. Lead actress Sameksha, who made her debut with this movie, told Guardian20, "I am on cloud nine to see the audience's overwhelming response. People have appreciated my work, which indeed is an inspiration to continue hard work with determination in the industry."
The movie has a commendable music score. Singers including Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Mika, Roshan Prince, among others have sung for the movie and Veena Malik's item number Shabbo de Chaubare has surely began a trend of sizzling umbers in Punjabi cinema.
