ollywood stars' promotional trips to the city is nothing new but Akki's recent visit to Chandigarh with the co-stars of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara was definitely different as the action star's negative role is a new thing for his fans.
Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha interacted with the media at PVR over their brief halt in the city. A huge cluster of fans gathered around the premises to catch a glimpse of their favourite actors. The fan following was evident with the road block and the mob was not ready to surrender even to the men in khakis.
White was the colour for the trio as all appeared in white attire. Akki dressed in a white kurta pyjama, Sonakshi in a white salwar kameez whereas chocolate boy Imran Khan donned a white shirt.
Akshay was asked the secret of his health to which he promptly added in pure Punjabi dialect, "The secret is desi ghee that still comes from villages is Punjab. It burns cholesterol, and keeps me fit."
His character as a villain wasn't easy to digest for the fans. He said that after the recent a hit cop role in Rowdy Rathore it was quite difficult for him to choose the negative role. "This is a new-age villain who breaks the barriers of the category. I can sum it up as 'I may be the first villain to romance with the heroine...'" quiped Akki.
"I love my role in the movie. Who doesn't like competition, especially when two boys are fighting for me, one being good and the other being bad," said Sonakshi, the centre of attraction amidst the two stars.
Imran appeared excited over his visit. While elaborating his role and experience with Akki, he said, "Working with him was real fun. He is humble and so easy to work with at the same time. And this movie is definitely different as my role is different as well as close to me."
