Shopaholics have a reason to rejoice as Shoppers Stop opens its 56th store in Chandigarh. The new was inaugurated along with the HomeStop, a furniture store and an exclusive outlet for home décor; and HyperCity, a premium shopping destination for food lovers, home entertainment, hi-tech appliances, furniture, toys etc.
Spread over 52,000 sq. ft. across three distinct levels, the store brings in an exceptional bridge-to-luxury shopping experience. The outlet was inaugurated by Bollywood actress Ira Dubey, and Govind Shrikhande, Customer Care Associate & Managing Director, Shoppers Stop Ltd.
Dubey said, "I do lots of shopping at Shoppers Stop which has always been a conscious decision. I personally feel that Chandigarh has now a one-stop shop offering a wide range of the best Indian and international brands, besides offering an amazing shopping experience. And, this is the time around to go on a shopping spree as a slew of summer collections are available here."
Talking about the store Shrikhande said, "Chandigarh is a market with a huge potential. The customer here is smart enough to buy exactly what she wants. The city is emerging as a fashion behemoth and this store would definitely transform the fashion retailing landscape of the city."
The store, besides offering a range of big brands under one roof, also offers Kashish, Life, Haute Curry, Elliza Donatein, Forever New , inSense', Being Human, iJeanswear, Mario Zegnoti, and Vettorio Fratini, which have been introduced for the first time. Mothercare, a world-renowned brand for maternity, baby and childcare products, would prove to be an added attraction for the young mothers.
"With contemporary interiors, the entire store looks snazzy. The specially-made trial rooms for differently-abled customers, well-equipped with day and night lighting options, large cashiering banks, are a few distinct initiatives that make the store unique," adds Shrikhande.
